Buttercream Florals: The Basket Weave Cake

    Curriculum

    What You Will Learn

    • Basket Weave Technique

    Learn how to pipe a woven basket design that creates a beautiful textured base for your floral arrangement.


    Precision & Flow

    Practice consistent piping pressure and spacing to achieve clean, professional lines.


    • Floral Piping Techniques


    You will learn how to pipe:


    * Dahlia

    * Daisy

    * English Rose

    * Apple Blossom

    * Hydrangea Clusters

    * Textured Foliage

    Your Workshop Project

    Each student will decorate a real 6-inch cake during the class and take their completed cake home.

    You will also receive a stable buttercream recipe designed for floral piping.

    No experience is required. This class is beginner-friendly and perfect for first-time cake decorators.


    Yes. This is a fully hands-on workshop. Each student will decorate their own cake from start to finish


    Yes. You will take your finished cake home in a cake box.


    Yes. Pre-baked cake layers, frosting, and all necessary tools will be provided for use during the class.


    This workshop provides foundational skills needed to confidently recreate and sell buttercream floral cake.


    Yes. Teens aged 14+ are welcome with parental permission. 


    Just yourself and a willingness to learn. Everything else will be provided. 


    Due to limited seating and preparation involved, all bookings are non-refundable. However, if you are unable to attend, your spot may be transferred to another person with prior notice.


     Click “Book”, select the  date - April 5th class at 1:00 PM, and complete the registration. Once we receive your registration, we will email the payment details. Your spot will be confirmed after the payment is completed, and you will receive a confirmation email.

    • In the unlikely event that the class needs to be rescheduled by the organizer, participants will be notified and offered an alternative date.
